two of us had Sunday lunch at the Robin Hood. There is a new chef here and the lunch we had was great. Portions are a good size, with varied veg. Dessert was a fantastic sticky toffee pud with toffee sauce and custard. Fantastic my partner’s. favourite pud and 10/10 in his view. We’ve always liked the Robin Hood and it’s greatly improved by the new extension, although we still prefer the bar area . It’s doggy friendl... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Robin Hood Public House:
10 of us arrived to try a new venue out so we decided to eat at the Robin Hood. Food was good hot, well prepared and tasty a real old country pub set in a great idillic area just out side the Malvern hills. The issue was either the landlord! ! He has a massive attitude problem , we had 6 children that wanted to play out side, the doors open for 5 minutes maximum, the owner then came over raising his arms and shouting why the doors should be kept closed , I feel he was drunk as non of us said anything. The young waitresses were very good but just be aware of the landlord. We won’t go back.
What a wonderful find whilst on a mini break in the Malverns. We turned up on Thursday lunchtime without booking. The service was incredible, Super speedy without feeling rushed, the food was piping hot and very generous, the whole table left feeling full. There looks to be fab outdoor seating with a play area, such a shame the rain was pouring down so our children couldn’t enjoy it. 100% recommend.
The landlord mocked me for being a vegetarian. Two of us ladies at the bar vs a cocky landlord with no manners. He spoke down to us like children whilst laughing and commenting that he has so many things he wishes he could say to us but probably shouldn't. Safe to say we decided NOT to eat here.
Came here with my family for lunch ordered large fish and chips it definitely wasn’t large judging by some of the photos on here, and £3.50 for a 39p lidls garlic baguette? Cider was nice but food was too expensive
Visited the area for the week, lovely nearby pub for an afternoon drink or two in the garden and great food at dinner time. Friendly staff, good service and a lovely pub dog!
Good food and great staff. The bar can be a bit noisy with locals. They welcome dogs in the bar and have a good menu and a large garden, with a dog free restaurant.
