"I had the house pork chop. the presentation was beautiful. all foods were freshly prepared and delicious. the waitress was very nice although she was busy. I highly recommend this place."

"We stopped in for a quick bite to eat while on our road trip from Saskatchewan and the staff was absolutely amazing!! Joanne was so kind and polite to my kids. The food was amazing and the bathrooms were very clean!! We experienced above and beyond exceptional service."

"Used to get pizza hut here so much, what happened? I ordered the other day, got the wrong pizza and one of them was very undercooked, they gave me the wrong desert, wrong sauce on my wings too, only thing they got right was the personal sized pepperoni pizza. Hate to say it but don’t waist your money here, terrible food. At least the delivery girl was pretty ?"

"Anyone who does a lot of traveling in small towns knows that vegetables and not carbohydrate based meals are hard to find. I ordered a large garden salad here and it was AMAZING. Not your standard iceberg lettuce with shredded carrots and a couple tomato slices this was a proper veg rich salad and just what I was craving after two days of burgers and fries. I also ordered a sub and a latte. They were great too."

"Service was slow, food had more hair on it than my cat, was cold, gravy was chunky and bland, and the meat tasted like it came from the cheapest pre packaged variety they could find. Not to mention the "music" in the bar next to the restaurant, which is run by the same guy, was so loud that you couldnt hear yourself think. On top of all this greatness, one of the waitresses seems to have an extremely foul mouth and no volume control. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone."

"Grabbed breakfast here on one leg of our roadtrip across Canada. This store was a nice respite with good coffee and decent breakfast sandwiches. The bathrooms were clean, as was the entire store: the employee was constantly cleaning both before and after we left the store, which I was very impressed by. She was also very friendly!"

"Stayed at Marathon Harbor Inn. Respection person noted the Oar house is right next to the Chinees Resturant. Sure enough we found it (2 block walk) but with no sign other then an "Open" light. Really surprised at the interior as it was all new. Food was good but no beer served (you have to go to the SMALLER Chinees resturant for such)."

"On our trip east on the TransCanada highway, there is often an over abundance of fast food brands. We read about this small independent restaurant in the Marathon Mall, a very few km. off the highway. We had the soup(choice of 2) and sandwich(choice of 4 or 5 on choice of 3 breads, toasted or plain) special. The soups smelled very good, and tasted even better. The sandwiches were very fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and price reasonable. I was even allowed to sit at a table where I could plug in to recharge my Ipod. The decor is intriguing with elephant theme paintings and sculptures everywhere. Well worth the small trip off the highway."
