What Jade Ralston likes about Old Thanh Huong:
Probably the best place in marrickville (although admittedly, I haven't tried any of the new places that have opened up in recent years). I lived in this neighbourhood for quite a few years and everyone knew this was the go to place. Nothing like a big bowl of pho on a cold night. Reasonably priced You get a bigger serving size and pay less than any place in the city. View all feedback.
What Úlfdís Þorkells doesn't like about Old Thanh Huong:
One of my most anticipated yet most disappointing food trips with my girlfriend because I heard from the reviews about the pho. To our disappointment, the pho tasted really bad - loaded with salt and MSG and nothing like what you tried in Hanoi or Ho Chi Ming. The stuffed chicken was dry and tasteless whereas the prawn rolls was also dry, tasteless and lack appeal. ???????? View all feedback.
The ratings are accurate, one of the best vietnamese pho’s I’ve had in Sydney! Service was also excellent.
Lovely meal and friendly staff! Would totally reccomend to a friend
