"Mouthwatering vegan options! The lasagne, stuffed eggplant and chilli are absolutely delicious. As well as their chickpea salad and fennel salad. They do superb coffee too. A must visit on waiheke island!"

"No question....this place has made an indelible place in our lives. Being from the SF Bay Area in particular. After a full day of touring vineyards on Waiheke, my flight attendant wife (who's worked Auckland several times) tells me we're going to this fantastic beach and then have dinner at this perfect little spot there. Of course, Charlie Farleys. It's very much a local hangout with burgers and fish and chips. All done wonderfully by the way. Like most folks I guess, we ate outside on the deck and enjoyed the beach scene and the occasional visit from local bird life. The food and service were impeccable by the way. This restaurant is actually fairly remote for tourists, it's not on the main wine route, so it was a pleasure to be away from that scene for awhile. After dinner I got up to go to the bathroom and what do I discover? Why it's the Golden State Warriors playing the Lakers on their inside TV! Made me want to plan retirement in New Zealand! How can life get any better than this? AND...we get to come back to Charlie Farley's!"

"Really looking forward to a meal out after a long day, and Garrisons was okay, but nothing really that good.$187.80 for 3 x entrees, 4 x mains and 5 x drinks. Tables are sticky, doesn't appear to be any order to the wait staff areas or roles (nothing to define the staff from the patrons). The nacho chips didn't appear to be warmed before toppings applied, as they were cold by the time they got to the table, most of the chips underneath so about half were soggy. Fish was good but chips were over cooked. Not sure about going back, maybe to meet friends for a drink (as it's really handy) but not dinner."

"Really a charm place to go for, the service is polite and friendly. Ommelate is soooo yummy and pretty. Salmon is so delicious, pizza is delightful, even the sides roast veggies is so good! Definitely will back again with our family and friends, they all enjoyed it very much. Thank you La Fourcherte,give us this wonderful dining experience."

"Staff were 5/5 Food was 3/5 Wine was 5/5 Atmosphere was 5/5 Overall review of 5 stars was based on the staff. From the maître’d looking after us, to the bar staff serving us they are what made this venue The views are stunning and no matter which member of their team you asked, they all could eloquently explain the wine and the region. Food was ok but not of similar rating to the rest of the venue and experience. Getting to the venue from the ferry terminal was approx 10 15 min drive. Or you could take a helicopter ride from what we observed with three arriving from the same tour company."

"Being an Italian food lover I have to say I love this restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and staffs are so friendly and patient. Went there for a lunch with my colleagues and we ordered chilli pizza and pesto pizza pane, cannelloni, rigatoni pasta, salmon penne pasta and seafood spaghetti. I was too hungry to take pictures . But all the pasta was tasty."

"This place is seriously amazing. The owners are absolutely lovely and friendly. And the food comes out tasting of home made deliciousness. There are many homemade condiments you can add to your meals (not included in the picture) the chilli jam was my favourite! Definitely made a repeat customer out of me."

"We had lunch with 8 of us. As you drive into the car park, it is the most stunning spot. The Bistro and Restaurant were heaving with people, but all spread out over a large area. Awesome atmosphere!! The meal was good but not amazing. The salad and vegetable side arrived when we had virtually finished our mains. The vegetables were actually just Brussel sprouts, which fortunately we liked. All in all, it was a fabulous lunch and atmosphere, and we would definitely recommend and certainly come back."

"Came here last night for the first time, exceptional service, incredible food the best chicken fajitas i have eveeer had and the most amazing mojito cocktail i have ever had! Will definitely be back!!"
