"Literally the best vegetable curry I've ever had, and coming from Birmingham, I've had a few. Everything was home cooked and superb quality. The service was top notch and the hosts are genuinely friendly and passionate about providing a good service. Please, please visit. You won't be disappointed."

"Have drove passed this for years and was always drawn to it. Decided to book for anniversary dinner advised when booked it was a special anniversary. On entering approached reception spoke to lady who gave the impression she would rather be anywhere else but there . Went into dining room gave name to young man behind bar who didn’t show us to our table but stated pointing to table in corner that’s yours ! Behind a group of 10 men . Sorry but 1st impressions really count during our time little to no interaction with staff except for the girl who served our mains. Waited long periods to get menu when 1st arrived and for dessert. Food itself was nice but overall experience let down by lack of welcome and poor service ."

"Cajoun chicken Nachos were superb for starters and the breaded haddock was nice and dry and the garnish complimented it just perfect, which suited me perfectly! Staff VERY pleasant and we will definitely be back... well done Carlton ????"
