How can you to wrong with homemade tamales, that come in 10 different flavors, for 10-20 pesos each?! At Maz Tamales you can get a filling and delicious meal probably cheaper than anywhere in the area. They are only open til 7, so don't wait too late. When I went, a few flavors were out of stock as well. The piña and elote flavors are very sweet. Go for the meat options if you want something more savory. View all feedback.
This place was recommended in an online site for people looking for good dining places in mazatlan. I found it quite accidentally while I went through the historical zone on the way to the mercado. it's just a window, no eating inside,...but we bought our deceased and went a block to the park opposite the big church and sat on the parking bench. the tamales are delicious and fillable and are slightly eaten without utensil or dish. try it. you will not be disappointed!
It is hard enough to find in many parts mexikos tamales and find those who are not dry and tasteless, is even more difficult, but maz tamales delivers moist, delicious. try them all!

Great tomales at a reasonable price located at 1308a Benito Juarez St which is south of the cathedral passed the Banamex bank and just before Constitution St.There is a small door way and a take out window where you place your order and they are made as you watch does not get better than that.A large portion with great flavours a must eat experience We like ours with a drizzle of hot sauce to spice it up our favourite is Cholulla but you have to supply your own. There is a short bench where you could eat them but we prefer to take them home.
