"I've been here many times, so this is more of an overall reflection... When I first walked in and saw all the memorabilia from Mainz I knew this place was for me. I was born in Germany and spent years over there. Walking in felt like home. The food is made with love! The beer is strong and smooth! The atmosphere is inviting!...and then there is live music, which is and has always been on point. I can easily say I love this place! Stop by try anything from the menu, and if you're hesitant then order a pretzel, I promise you won't be disappointed. As I've said before, I've been here numerous times (to the point friends get me gift cards from here since they know how much I love it)...never have they disappointed, never has the service been questionable, slow, or just lacking...never has the food been bad...Always. Ahoy to come, always a place to be with friends or even if you just stop by for a quick pretzel and beer...I highly recommend!!!"

"We came here for my father's birthday lunch. It was Easter weekend. Surprisingly we had bo wait time to be seated with a group of 6. They had the endless shrimp promotion for the weekend, which they only have on Monday's now. Food was extremely good. Plus the service of our waiter put the cherry on top. Great food and great service."

"Im not sure why keep ordering omelets from here. It seem they cant make them. It was a block or egg in places with eveything on top and off to the side. I ordered cheese and extra cheese but didnt have much cheese at all. It was huge but not very good nor worth the price. The New York Cheesecake Pancakes were very moist, cooked perfectly and the strawberry sauce was awesome."
