"Taco Palenque is and continue as the best place for Mexico style food in the McAllen, Pharr, Mission area !! I love the tortillas any of both styles and even love more the rice and beans, are just !! And last but not least, no matter if you choose beef or chicken fajita, is the same good flavor and taste every single day !!! A recent update on the 10th street location. Kids playground is no more (could be because the obvious reasons)"

"Had a great experience there, the waiter was very nice to us. the ribs are so good here, and the sides are so big. we order a series of ribs with okra and bake kartoffel for two people and we had overlaid, two women cannot finish this plate. the desert was delicious apples with roll and ice cream, also too big. they have different prices, but if they know how to order they can save much. the brot is amazing! recommend this logan’s."

"Don’t let this location fool you. It’s small but it’s food packs a punch! At first glance this restaurant didn’t catch my attention. during my lunch break I gave it a shot, boy did I regret not stopping when I’ve seen this place before! It’s very delicious and they load the plates up! I now order a meal from here EVERY SINGLE TIME!"

"The SALT Board with the charcuterie is one of the best I’ve ever tasted, the combination of flavors makes the magic! Mac and cheese was perfect as side, the pork chop was tender, flavored and the presentation of the plate was top! The duck was fantastic, and the vegetables on the plate made the perfect combination, drinks were a plus! All the staff are kind and professionals"

"I wanted to treat my son with a burger at Chili on Nolana Loop, just a few blocks west of McColl Rd. Once we have our drinks ordered and ordered a sampler plate. You select three items from a offered list. We chose fried cheese, buffalo wings (Knoblauch) and the southwest egg rolls. The fried cheese is two squares of baked mozzarella, and comes with a wish to be marina sauce. The egg rolls have black beans, corn and red peppers filled inside and served with an avocado ranch sauce. The reels have a decent balance of flavors that pair well with the sauce. The wings are the traditional buffalo and served with ranch. My son ordered the baconburger, I ordered the buffalo chicken salad. He loved his burger, he practically inhaled him. My salad was lame, first it did not come with the blue cheese crumbs that were in the menu description, nor was the chicken dipped or coated with buffalo sauce, only smooth ole fried chicken breast cut into strips. So the only components on my salad were salad mixture (clothed), tortilla strips, a few bacon bits and the chicken, boring! I asked my server about the missing components and she immediately returned with both, but that did little to help an already weak salad. A few grape tomatoes, red onion rings and maybe Avocado would have made a big difference. The prices in Chile are reasonable, but for a $12 dollar salad it could have been much better. Next time, I'll order a burger."
