My husband and I were there to eat on Sunday 31st July with a group of 57 people from a Beefsteak and Burgundy Club - what a beautiful environment, excellent food and great service. What a lovely venue to hold a wedding: a wedding in the rotunda surrounded by well kept lawn, vineyards followed by the reception in a beautiful atmosphere inside with excellent food. I wish it was busy, but it wasn't and the service was horrible. They did discount our food but the damage was already done, we weren't the only table that waited over 1.5hrs for food. Do not recommended. Staff very inattentive not fine dining. read more.

"An exceptional fine dining experience from beginning to end. Hats off to the chefs for taste, quality ingredients and specifically the presentation. We also opted for the wine pairing with our degustation. The wine pairings went well with our meals, however we would’ve loved to learn more about the history and tasting notes. Unfortunately due to restrictions being implemented the night before our visit and not to cancel guests bookings, all seatings were reduced to 2 hours with a reduced menu. As a result, we were more tipsy than full by the end of the meal but understandably, Maxwell did what they could given the circumstances. We definitely are keen to go back for the full experience."
