Chalit's Thai Bistro - Mechanicsburg

Excellent, delicious and fresh. I have tried many Thai restaurants and this is now on my favorite list. It is hard to find a place that nails the aromas properly and she did it perfectly here. The interior was cozy and the staff was very friendly. Very good you will try.

I love this restaurant. I've been coming here for years. I started living in the area, and they were downstairs. There are hands down my favorite Thai restaurant and I always make a point to come here when I visit family. I have lived in 4 different states in the last decades and tried numerous Thai restaurants in every location, nothing compares with Chalit's. Their ingredients are always very fresh, the sauces are tasteful, and the price is not bad considering the quality. My favorite is their cashews and chilis wicy wok. 10/10 would eat for any food if I could?

Food was exceptional... Service might have been better; but after some investigations and our party realized that there were only 3 people who work this restaurant. 1 hostess, 1 server and 1 chef. In order to continue with both dunes and execute commands, I had to proceed and give them the 5 stars! In the end, we just gave people a head on the fact that we are just short employees, we all understand. They had written it behind the special sign, but tipped it because servers can tell you the special thing. Overall, it is a fantastic environment, food is great, and I will be back. Thank you.

Excellent food. The staff was very friendly. Portions were excellent size for the price. For example I got the combination platter for $18. Comes with fried rice and tons of meat. Most of the time you get one piece of meat with other restaurants I've been to, but I got 4 shrimp in my platter in addition to the other things. So that was great. They of course also had great vegetarian options as well, my wife got the pad Thai. It was great as well. Highly recommend!
