Visited with a large mixed aged group (approx.30) and sat on the ground floor on 3 big tables in front of the bar. We had pre ordered mixed roasts placed on the table for us to serve ourselves. The meal quickly went from what I thought was my smallest ever roast dinner to the largest. The food overall was great, the Yorkshire puddings huge and tasty and we were offered extra veg as required. The service was very good... read more.

In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, and there is no-charge WLAN. The premises on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for customers with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What N3618MHjong doesn't like about Mcguire's Fine Foods:
Always enjoyed the Pumproom, but this visit was a bit disappointing. Extremely small portions for the price, half glasses of Prosecco for £10, would have been nice to have the heating on, very cold indeed. read more.

Stopped off for drinks after visiting the Chatham Historic Dockyards. Great drinks, lovely vibe inside. We will be back!

Food under delivered for the price point. Shame as the setting is lovely. Small menu which is ok, but needs to deliver on all courses. On this occasion it fell...

"This was our first visit to the Jerk cafe, and we had never had Caribbean food before. The food was simply amazing. I had the mutton curry with rice and peas and a lamb pattie. The wife had Brown stew chicken, rice and peas and a roti bread. The mutton curry had a nice gentle heat to it and was lovely, as was the brown stew. I found the Jamaican pattie to be a bit bland, but setting that aside I would recommend the food. We found parking in a local car park behind the Jerk cafe, a 4 minute walk."

"A real caffe! sensitive prices and smiling and happy staff! the food tasted good and arrived in time at the table. the portion size was better than expected!
