"Really nice smoked and juicy meats. Seating is only outdoors so check the weather. When I went it was windy and raining. Not a great way to enjoy some good food. I just have to go back now. "Went here for an evening meal on a Sunday after having a couple drinks there on the Saturday. Just ate in the bar, so can't comment on their restaurant, although I think one of the dishes was on both menus. There was a limited menu in the bar and to be honest for a so called gastropub neither meals we had were of a high standard, in fact both were pretty tasteless and very dry and although when I see hand cut chips on a menu my heart fills with dread, on this occasion I wish they had of been there instead of the fast food style fries that came with my burger. Look to be fair, after reading other reviews, I'm guessing this was probably just an off night but then again maybe the bar is an afterthought but hopefully not, as the beer selection was very good."
