"When you are looking for traditional restaurants offering local cuisine you may find many good places. What you probably don t find is a place which offers you the comfort to use it as a casual place at high quality food. A young and creatice cuisine which changing menu matching seasonal fish and vegetables is offereing a large range of freshy cooked meals. The wine selection is just as good. All this is completed by a very warm and friendly service runned by a family business. Come to Oepfelbom.... come home might just sum it up accurately."

"Great hotel, great location and fantastic food. It is on a main road / rail, but there is little traffic after 6pm. We slept very well. Great location to explore the Walensee and Flumserberg region. The surprise was the quality of our dinner. It was excellent and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. I can highly recommend."

"We stayed here for two nights and everything went perfectly. Friendly service, clean and functional facility, very peaceful and quiet. There is also a spa and fitness room which we didn't visit though. ️ We stayed in a larger than average room, with also a separate room with a desk to be able to work. The room was huge, super comfortable, super comfortable bed, large safe and even hiking backpacks you can borrow for a walk in the mountains. Very modern bathroom. Beautiful location, the hotel is completely surrounded by beautiful mountains. The view from the room was beautiful. It's also a great choice for families with games and even a trampoline for kids. The only slightly discordant note is that to reach some rooms there were only stairs and there was no lift: it could be complicated for some guests. Rooms: Room 32 larger than average and perfect if you need to work. Great view. Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic"

"We tried this restaurant as it was close to our appts. The waitress didn't seem very happy or friendly, we thought she might change, but didn't. We ordered drinks which came quickly, then ordered a snack each. It was all eateable but seemed very greasy, and the onion rings slightly burnt. The food was extremely average, would go again for a drink but nothing more, didn't seen a friendly place! They could do better, As it was a perfect location on the sea front, with tables outside."
