What Rose O doesn't like about Mad Hatters:
Ironically mad hatters lives up to its name . The first red flag should’ve been the fact you can’t even see into the cafe. Greeted by unfriendly locals and staff this place is disgusting and sticky. Not to mention the hoard of flies zipping about. Got up and left as the atmosphere was so horrific. Desperately needs a health visit. No doubt the place would be shut down. read more.

In the morning, you can enjoy a appetizing brunch at Mad Hatters, as much as you want, The yummy sandwiches, small salads and other snacks are also suitable for a snack. "We were trying to get into the cafe opposite as it had tables in the sun, and it wasn’t immediately obvious where the entrance to the Almshouse is (10 yards down street). The outside seating doesn’t look as appealing as it’s neighbor but once inside it’s a different story. A really nice menu with an excellent selection of cakes and sandwiches and great coffee, served by friendly staff. The Almshouse itself is really pretty inside, with a bookshop, and spiral staircase taking you to more seating. Next time we’re in Axbridge we’ll be heading straight there!"
