Collins has great food. They unfortunately don't take call ins which sucks. Because I have 30 minutes for lunch and was ordering for multiple people. Hopefully that will change. However they were nice enough one time to accept a call in from one of my coworkers.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Claude Torp doesn't like about Collins Barbeque Smokehouse:
I recently dined at Collins Barbecue for the first time. The service left much to be desired, and while the dressing was delicious, I was not a fan of the canned candy yams or cabbage. When I requested an exchange, Mr. Collins shrugged his shoulders and said they do not offer that service. I felt I wasted $10 on my meal. The owner did not seem to care that it was my first visit or about the quality of the food. Unfor... View all feedback.
After purchasing 2 extra large rib tips for a repass. When I got to the repass, I told the people that this was the best rib tips in northwest Indiana. After eating the ribs tips I was so embarrassed, there was so much fat on the rip tips. There was piles of fat on people plates, then people started mocking me the best rib tips in northwest Indiana. I don’t know what happened with there services.
Mean people! Food mediocre! The owner claims he knows Jesus. ?EXCELLENT cakes!! I had the German chocolate cake and the caramel cake! Yummy for my tummy!Food: 1/5
I ordered wings, two sides, turkey tips dinner, and peach cobbler. The fried wings and turkey tips were delicious. However, the sides were the worst I have ever tasted. The macaroni lacked flavor - it was simply unsalted noodles with a bit of cheese. The spaghetti was terrible as well. I ended up throwing the sides in the garbage. The peach cobbler was served cold - it would have been better if it was warmed up. If you decide to visit this restaurant, I recommend skipping the sides altogether.
The customer service at this restaurant is terrible. The older gentleman who takes orders is extremely rude and lacks any professionalism. My experience was completely ruined and it was my first time dining here.
