Seasonal Menu Alert Board and Batten was amazing from start to finish. My fiancé, her parents, and I dined here last and we were greeted with very kind and menu knowledgeable staff. I had the Penicillin named drink which had a enjoyable balance ofGinger and Scotch. Next, we had a beautifully made House Focaccia the came with a fig mostarda. As an entree, I had theseasonally off menu Australian Wagyu with gnocchi and spinach. The wagyu was cooked to perfection with a medium rare directionto the chef. You can tell that the gnocchi was freshly made. Lastly, we shared an almond cake where the almond was notoverpowering and complimented by strawberries and lime with cream. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommendanyone to come.
This restaurant always knocks it out of the park. After a July hiatus, Board and Batten is up and running. PEI mussels were the bomb. Excellent and nicely complex flavor for this tomato based sauce and the meaty mussels were cooked to perfection. B&Bserves the best Paloma in town. Although they've been here for some time, B&B is a fantastic addition to the east valley.
Amazing experience! Everything was thoughtfully curated, the cocktails, appetizers, main courses and even the desserts. Not one dish was bad. The front of the house manager was super nice as well, very knowledgeable with their cocktail program andexplained all the dishes very well. Great atmosphere too. Will definitely be back! Can?t wait to check out the outdoor patioarea once the weather is nice again in Mesa, Arizona.
Lovely place to dine at for lunch or dinner! The food has been exceptional both times I've been and looking forward to future dining experiences there! The menu is always changing, which makes each experience a new one. The food is beautifully crafted onthe plate and palate alike, not too much nor too little. And highly recommend the desert, especially the Salted Caramel Bar withthe lemon mousse! It's superb!
I was visiting from Seattle. My brother and his wife took us here. We ordered almost the whole menu and loved every bite. The Beet Hummus and Bacon wrapped dates are delicious. It was a wonderful spot to hang out and relax. The staff took care of us likewe were family.
