"I was spending the day with my son after getting chicken up the street. I'm trying to get him out of the house and see things interesting he sat just looking around for 30 mins without saying anything. He's 15 and had taken a shine to one of the women behind the counter. I didn't say anything but I asked him do you think she's cute? I do, tell her you like her outfit and leave it at that. He did and she said thank you. I like the whole setup of this coffee shot tons of art that is for sale and I have my eye on one of the pieces and thinking about buying it. I walked around to other area of the coffee shop to find a large dinner table with 5 students at it with their laptops and heads down books open schools are closed right now as it's christmas. I've seen where coffee houses only allow you to be there an hour or as long as your buying things. The ice'd coffee I got was great and the staff was polite. "I’ve been coming to peixoto for years and years since they first opened pretty much. I always look forward to the seasonal menus because they are always changing and ever evolving. I also especially love when they get la belle vie in their shops because it saves me a long drive even though it is worth it for Nathas baked goods but with two kids it’s much easier to just go to peixoto instead! A word of warning for other mothers out there with multiple kids in double strollers. Please save yourself the hassle and avoiding this place on weekend mornings. This morning I had gone in with my children and everyone(public wise) didn’t think i was in line and had no problem cutting me. So you really almost have to fight for your spot just for some coffee/tea. Don’t expect downtown Chandler for anyone to help you out with the door either. 3 drinks one hand with a huge stroller such a huge mistake. But i made it work. Anyways the coffee and tea are always amazing and will continue to come back for years to come but maybe without my kids at this location. The Gilbert location looks more mom/kid friendly for sure."
