What plato1953 likes about The King's Head:
This is a wonderful traditional pub in a thatched 16thC building. No bar, just a tap room serving fine local ales from the cask. High backed settles, beams, uneven floors. And a lovely garden for summer. The menu is outstanding and often features venison. View all feedback. What mememe911 doesn't like about The King's Head:
I decided to stop by for a lunch of fish and chips, but unfortunately they were out. I ended up ordering scampi instead. I suspect that it was all frozen because the coating kept falling off. The chips were mostly scraps and bits, and even the mushy peas were made of garden peas with an unusually light and dusty texture. Overall, I was very disappointed with my meal. View all feedback.
