First visit to this lovely lively pub. We stopped on off chance for a Sunday roast. Initially told they were fully booked but staff were so friendly and managed to find us a table. The roasts were absolutely delicious and great value for money. The pub was packed yet the staff were lovely , friendly , efficient and attentive. Came here for lunch as it's midway between myself and family. Easy to find, but found almost no car parking and the spaces that arena the tiny car park are more suited to a motorbike...good luck if you have anything like an SUV.. anyway we would have sat outside as it was a lovely day, however the very loud roar of traffic from the A23 put us off that idea.
