Found this place on line whilst looking for somewhere nice to eat near Middlesbrough Train Station. It's literally across the road from the front entrance in the old crown house building. It was midweek at teatime and fairly quiet. It's actually open throughout the evening...as well as lunchtime. What at wonderful place, beautifully decorated, great service and excellent food. Rubbish!! Booked for 10 people for an 18 birthday 2 weeks ago. When I arrived I was told I hadn't booked. Then he checked his book and realised I had. I was then shown to a table which there were only 8 seats available and not 10. They did add an extra table but then we were told there were no steaks being served that night!
