"We were a group of eight that ordered a variety of entrees pasta, souvlaki, stir fry, short ribs and fish and chips. All the meals were plentiful and very tasty. We also ordered different desserts strawberry cheesecake, creme brulee, chocolate torte and brownie with vanilla bean ice cream. The portions were very generous and they were all delicious! Coffee drinkers enjoyed the French press they each got and tea drinkers were impressed with the size of the ceramic teapot. Presentation is obviously important to the owners; food and serving materials were all pretty! This place has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely would recommend!"

"Got takeout. Just moved here and this place seemed like the best choice. Overall the flavour of the green curry was very tasty, however it was a bit thinner than I’m used to/prefer. As well, the veg were slightly over cooked and mushy which isn’t my preference.I didn’t order rice but was happily surprised when rice came with my curry (I was going to make my own anyway)Overall would order from here again though! (Unless I find a better spot in my search)"

"Thai House is a fantastic little spot in Milton for Thai food. I've been around to different restaurants in Oakville and the area, and I'm really happy to find that Thai House is probably my favourite within a 20-30 min radius. The food is always fresh and warm, and I love how generous the protein portions are (tofu, chicken). So far my favourites are the Panang curry and the Ginger Chicken curry. Lemongrass soup was alright but needed a little more flavour, Pad Thai wasn't the best we've had but passable and not ketchup-y. Overall though, cannot complain."

"Sam's is a great place for what it is. Food may be a tad over priced, but quality is consistent and in my opinion better than most. Halifax Donir is spot on like the ones I've had down east, and the Poutine could possibly be one of the best I've had yet.You'll have my repeat buisness."

"Heard some good and bad things about this restaurant. Booked dinner for my family since my sister was visiting from Europe. The waiter was well formed, and attentive. He seemed to know the menu, and know the beer and wine list. Dinner was great, and the price was fair. I would definitely go back. The menu had a good variety and the food quality was good."

"It’s busy, so it must be great!!! We had a thirty minute wait when we showed up at 11am. We were quickly but pleasantly greeted and seated at the thirty minute mark. Our server was kind and thorough. We received our water immediately after being seated which was a great touch. Food came out within 15-20 minutes, and was top notch! Fresh, hot and flavourful. The coffee is good too! The price point is on point with the portions and totally worth the quality of dishes. Looking forward to making the drive back, many times. "What I love most is discovering new gems with new people. I had a 4hr sit down with someone over conversation smiley service and friendly people. We ordered the fish and chips, and the a burger a side of fries. The meal was a bit on the greasy what do you expect. Fries were a bit stale. Other than that it was great value, washrooms are clean. I find on the left side of main entrance near the bar the tables are more vacant but it is near a side exit to smoke. So you will find a draft from passing traffic. Its definitely a hidden gem and I look forward to trying it again."
