very practical, as I live near. saves the annoying with the car in the city and paid for parking. good selection of clothing, perfumery and well-stocked food hall. there is a caffe in serving tea, coffee and a selection of sandwiches and cake etc. found exactly what I was looking for and was in and out in a reasonable time. What User doesn't like about Marks And Spencer:
Called into M&S for lunch here as working locally, had a salmon and cucumber sandwich and a a red onion and cheddar packet of crips with a free bottle on water as part of meal deal. The sandwich and crisps were fine but don't really compete with a Boots meal deal which will include a sandwich yoghurt and a smoothie for about 40p more! M&S reasonable quality but overpriced! "Staff were friendly and service was quick.. However the food quality was extremely poor. No exaggeration, literally the worst English breakfast I have ever tasted, probably the worst meal full stop. The eggs were slimy where they were not cooked properly, the bacon tasted horrific, the sausage was one of those cheap kinds you buy in a discount store and the tomatoes oh the tomatoes imagine mushy peas but made with tomatoes instead, that was the consistency, like they had been boiled dry. All washed down with a cup of tea that can only be described as also horrific. i would have preferred to eat a bush tucker trial to be honest. I always wash my hands when I get home, but today I felt like washing my mouth too. Never again."
