My ex-work colleagues and I had been looking for somewhere to lunch regularly where a tasty menu was available. The Swan has surpassed our expectations, and although we thought we would change the venue each time we met since coming here have had no reason to go elsewhere. My friend said it is a real find. The Swan is a beautiful buzzy gastropub and the staff is always friendly. The problem is their portion control makes this bad price-performance ratio. The meat plate for 2 was just enough as a meal for 1 and the staff recognized the problem and removed the £17 from the bill.
