"Located in a the middle of Haliburton, this gem has an innovative menu, a brewery downstairs and a lovely setting. The menu includes local contributions which I always respect. In Haliburton, they have sought out the bakers and cheese makers who have so richly contributed to this remote and rather rugged community characterized by sparkling lakes, Canadian Shield outcrops and mixed deciduous/coniferous forests. Try the duck confit!"
