"This place is busy!! They have organized it well for the masses they expect a zig-zag lineup system and 2 or 3 windows available to order ice cream. Many picnic tables! And a few bees! The “small” cone is really too big for...the teenie weenie cones, which is why many have opted for waffles or bowls. Many choice in the flavors my 2 bowl “small” Cones of Muskoka Mocha was huge and quite delicious coffee aroma with a good amount of tiny chocolate fish! Good experience!"

"First time there. Fish was amazing and so were the fries. Really good fries. Tatar sauce was really good. Mixed review with the coleslaw. But overall a very tasty first meal at this restaurant"

"I am a resident, so order from here all the time the ladies are always pleasant. I tried to order at 9 a.m. on a Saturday night, but phone was out of the hook, so could not order, drove there and went around 9:15 and the guy said they were closed out of the dough? Never heard of this excuse. Asked for a slice, she didn't. Hours say they are open to 10."

"Popped by with the family on a lark when we saw all the cars parked out front. Small wonder - this place is a little gem in cottage country. Good food in very generous portions served with a smile. Save room for dessert - the home made pie was excellent!"

"Stopped in while in the area. Very casual and cheerful bustling ambiance. Started with amazing spring rolls. Then we ordered Pad Thai w chicken and shrimp. It was totally fantastic! Plenty of huge pieces of chicken and of shrimp. Tasty and wonderful. Portions are huge and I had a full dinner leftover for the next night. Definitely worth the drive. We will be back."

"My boyfriend and baby daughter and I had dinner at McKecks earlier tonight. Our server Tori D was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended guest and her personal favourite dishes and was very personable. We started with mozzarella sticks. I had the ravioli which was incredible. My boyfriend had the Reuben which he also enjoyed. We had skor brownie for dessert. Best restaurant we’ve been to in Haliburton, and best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time.My virgin mojito was overpriced at $10, but everything else made up for that."
