What JewelW doesn't like about Stepchld:
I am Gluten Free. When I called to ask about their GF options, i was told that there were at least 9 items. When we got to Stepchld, I realized that there were only 4 items. The other 5 items were all things that were fried. If you put food in a shared fryer it is not longer GF. It was a real bummer to know that we could only eat 4 things. Delicious food. A lot of change. Wine prices are a little high.
The whole atmosphere of this restaurant is very cool and relaxed. The food was excellent – Burrata, the pig bell with coconut rice and the Burger cooperative. Everything was delicious and unique flavors.
Booked this restaurant on a whim and ended up loving our time there!! Everything from the atmosphere to the menu selection was perfect. Our server was delightful and made some great recommendations as far as drinks. Can’t wait to come back here for those birria tacos!

The food was delicious and inventive. The cauliflower was delicious served in a pool of just-spicy-enough romesco sauce, the creamy burra contrasted beautifully with the garnish of zatar and roasted pistachios and the chubby noodles are a do-not-miss dish! Great fried chicken and juicy burger. Our waiter, Gordon, couldn't have been more welcoming and genuinely friendly.
