"Lovely staff, great atmosphere, fresh baking, locally sourced tea and coffee blends, creative monthly specialty drinks that support local fundraising initiatives, and beautifully styled balcony space facing the river. It’s a home away from home for me."

"We always enjoy the Blackberry Kitchen. Fine dining is a special experience that is to be savoured. Food is well presented and the time you wait is for that old-fashioned art called conversation. If you feel the need for speed then try Wendy's down the road. Blackberry Kitchen is where you enjoy the flavours, inhale the scents, spend time with your friends or significant others and comment on the beautiful vistas. This is a place for people who truly appreciate food. Sip the wine, enjoy the music and conversation and the great history of this significant Norma Kenney log building. Breathe. Enjoy. Relax."

"So so good. It should be a crime for pastries to look and taste this good. The saving grace is that I have to travel about an hour to get there. It would be dangerous to live closer! They have an amazing set up which is efficient and entertaining at the same time. Order ahead or line up and hope that your favourites are still available. Amazing entrepreneurs with great energy!"

"I have finally found a place close by for a great treat and coffee. If you go right in the morning the muffins are still warm from the oven. Great atmosphere, you can grab and go, or sit down. Very welcoming and the smell is heavenly."

"Went there for dinner, I had the prawn tacos. You get 3 small nicely presented and flavourful portions. I tried my son's fried chicken sandwich, delicious good size, light crispy breast meat. I also sampled the broccoli salad, yummy. My husband enjoyed his made to order hamburger, fries and Caesar salad. They sampled 4 small glasses of craft beer that comes on a wood plank. The price is a little on the higher side but it was worth it to get fresh made to order meal."
