Three Black Sheep - Moama

We visited twice over June long weekend, for dine in and takeaway and the porridge was delicious both times! The service was great and accommodating of our group. Located in Moama in a nice area with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking and easy...to access.

We went to the Three black sleep for lunch. And it wasn’t the most pleasant place to dine. There could definitely be an improvement in the customer service, the way the staff spoke to us wasn’t the best, I was very unhappy with the service....All food was delicious, however my mum ordered the açai smoothie and it tasted like grass. Way too much mint, or grass if there was some in there. Taco bowl was delicious But customer service didn’t measure up, wouldn’t recommend if I’m being honest. Also very dismissive about catering to personal needs in terms of foods and making adjustments to meals. wanted to get one thing on the side taken off and they wouldn’t do that, and provided very little explanation as to why it wasn’t possible. This would be understandable in a fast paced restaurant however it was far from busy and it’s hard to see how the seconds it would take to remove a side from a dish would be such a big deal. Also another tip is to say to there staff to make sure they maintain professional!

Breakfast was great coffee was good. They really need some music for atmosphere even if its only playing in the background. We visited on a warm morning there really is little shade. They had the smaller tables people) sitting on the edge...of what shade there was from a hanging vine, whilst undercover areas had the large tables which were unused. I think they could make small tables a priority or at least be aware of people numbers when hot days are forecast. The other gripe I have is the tables sitting on the paved areas are still not level. We have been a number of times during stays in Moama. Its one thing to pop a bit of napkin under neath but surely someone there could pick up a drill screws and put some levelling in place?!

Great staff of young ladies, extremely helpful and pleasant. But.. No fancy Melbourne brunches here.. N.B. breakfast menu finishes at It’s a Huge place out of town and away from the terrible traffic Echuca seems to be experiencing at the moment. After lockdown it...seems like everyone is suddenly visiting Echuca so expect delays getting anywhere quickly. Apparently they are building another Bridge to help ease the delays. It can’t come soon enough! Big grounds surrounding the cafe are perfect for kids! There are loads of tables outside as well. NB. All Restaurants are heavily booked, at least they were on the weekend so get in early.

The restaurant isn't in town, but is only a few mins drive and well worth it. There is indoor and outdoor seating options, easy carking on-site carpark, and the team are amazingly helpful. Brekkie menu has your go-to bircher museli and smashed avo, but...will keep the more adventurous happy too. In Nov there are great options like Mexican Pulled Pork Benedict, Vietnamese Chilli Scrambled Egg and Zucchini Persian Fetta Rostis all were delicious. Coffe is delicious too. Due to current Covid restrictions, recommend booking a table.
