A favorite restaurant in the Quad Cities. The food is always good. The staff are very friendly and on my last visit one staff member made a radler for me when they were out of the one I had ordered. Great selection of beers. View all feedback.
What April A doesn't like about Bierstube:
We we’re there Tuesday night 9-6 and had the absolute worst experience. not only was the food disgusting, but it was almost as cold inside as it was outside. The only thing good about the 100$ I spent was the waitress, she was amazing. except for the fact she knew the soup was disgusting and still let my 83 year old grandma order it lol it’s sad when you try to go small business but the food and stuff is so expensive... This is a little cute pub. The beer was nice and cold, although they were out of about 60% of the German beer, but we found one that was delicious. I had to change my order twice because they were out of that item...hoping that was because the business was super busy before we got here. There were tables that were not cleaned and our waitress was pretty slow checking on us, better on my bank balance.
This Moline location is currently CLOSED. Possibly for good. Water pipes burst over the winter. However, the LeClaire location is OPEN.
How is this place still open? I used to LOVE coming to the Bierstube. Growing up on the QC and frequenting this place during college was great. However, I’ve since moved away and try to visit the Bierstube at least a couple times a year and am disappointed every time largely because they aren’t open when they say they are! Today is a great example their website states they’re open from 11am 9pm (much shorter hours than in years past but fine). My wife and I showed up right around noon for lunch and the door was locked with all the lights off. The door still said they opened at 11 and nothing online indicated they’d have different hours. We called a few times and no one answered the phone and there want a message telling us the hours had changed from what they are online. There have been other time where it’s the reverse I’ve showed up at 7:30 for dinner to be told the kitchen had already closed it was a Saturday. So in my recent experience, I can come for lunch and I can’t come for dinner so do I try to come at like 3pm and hope they’re open/are serving food? I want to come back and give them the umpteenth opportunity because the food is usually fantastic and the beer selection is huge, but they’re never open when they say they are and it’ll be hit or miss if I can even get food if they are. Maybe this is just a one off since I’m an out of Townes, but for god sake update your hours, have your staff answer the phone, and commit to being there when you advertise that you are.

The schnitzel is excellent! We went here after my mom's funeral service. Our bartender was amazing! She was fun and made us feel great on a hard day. The food and drinks were perfect! We are hoping to have time to go back before having to travel back to Oregon.
