"They have had some inconsistencies over time but, mostly the food and service is good. The eggplant sandwich and chicken tostada grande are my favorite for lunch. Breakfast and dinner are good too. I would recommend."

"Staying at Hotel Charlotte for three nights was such a treat! Traveling alone, I felt right at home, warmly welcomed and safe. Finn and Brennen were the most enjoyable and kind hosts. The complementary tea choices are incredible! While the rooms are not huge, they are beautifully prepared and comfortable! I so enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend Hotel Charlotte. "We made the trip over from Sonora with friends to enjoy brunch and some mimosas. It was raining and fairly cold outside so we decided to eat indoors. We were seated by the door. We ordered drinks and breakfast. The bartender (who I was later told is an owner) opened the door and propped it open. We unknowingly went to close the door (because it was cold and blowing wind straight at our breakfast). The bartender then proceeded to loudly and blatantly complain about Table 15 (us) for the duration of our meal. We apologized for asking to close the door and hoped she'd drop it...but she continued to loudly berate us to all of the customers at the bar. Even as we went to pay to leave (we couldn't wait to get out of there) she was loudly telling the other customers that she couldn't wait for us to leave so she could open the door. We'll gladly never return. Thankfully we enjoyed even better mimosas up the street."
