My travel buddy wanted to eat true Wisconsin fried cheese curds and this restaurant did not disappoint. We shared the curds as an appetizer. They were served hot and gooey. Delicious. Service was prompt. Decor is warehouse modern. Staff attentive. Cute, small town. We followed up with equally hearty, flavorful sandwiches. Good selection of beers and wine. I’ve been a few times while in Monroe. Food was always great. But this last time I was turned away at the lunch hour despite there being open bar seats and tables leaving as I was arriving.
