I had to deduct one star because my favorite Layl Shishi item is no longer on the menu. The VIP Cholent Plate (aka the Heimishe Sombrero) was truly a dish worthy of the VIP mantle. Cholent (bean or barley), potato kugel, kiskha, jachnun, eggs, Gedempte Fleish and two slices of garlic toast. Truly a way to end the workweek and rocket towards Shabbos. I would not call this fine dining but where else can you get a kosher hamburger for $11.00. the portions are generous....it was 5 pm and the place was empty service was quick...I like others question the vintage of the beef.
