"I leave a mixed opinion on the evening we spent in this establishment which offers specialties based on cheese products and Perigourdines. The meal was very good, the portions copious with good value for money. The big downside in my opinion was the very cold welcome upon our arrival, when taking the order and even until the end (although at dessert it seemed to have softened a little! . I almost got yelled at for comparing the cheese on the Jura plate to the Mont d'or! However, I have good knowledge on the subject and I maintain that this cheese is similar to Mont d'or which just has an extra AOP! In short... it threw a big chill which ruined the meal a little because I had the impression of being taken for uneducated when I was just trying to be interested in the product! Too bad because for me the quality of the welcome, the smile and the contact with the customers are everything as important as what we are served on the plate."

"Wonderful food and friendly people! We went to this restaurant when it was almost full and expected to turn, but they managed to find a table for us. Enjoyed basically everything we have in our mouth, especially the pig and duck dishes we ordered. The coffee lava cake is not to be missed. Fantastic restaurant, highly recommended for those who visit Sarlat!"
