We say that because it can be hit or miss, but the style and ambiance inside is too charming to give up. What User doesn't like about Mckibbin's:
Hubby and I ate there and we weren't overly impressed. Food was average. Hubby ordered a Titanic Burger, which was huge, and fries and I ordered baked chicken leg with fries. When our order arrived, I received a chicken breast. Had to send it back. Teresa, our server, was very friendly and sorry the cook gave me the wrong plate. Give it a try! View all feedback.
The ambience, service, and food at this restaurant were excellent. I had a wonderful time with my friends. The Smoked Bison burger was a unique and delicious experience.
Went here 3 x each time great service food and atmosphere! Caesar salad was great also fish and chips and quesidilla...
We stopped in for a couple of beers and dinner on our last night in Montreal. The bar was packed with regulars, and the tables were a little small, but we made do and enjoyed our cold beers and food. Hubby had the jambalaya it was amazing and I had the chicken quesadilla also yummy and plenty for a light dinner. Overall, a great little spot! Next time, we will look for more comfy chairs!
A solid Irish pub menu with beautifully prepared food. Good lunch specials and fast, courteous service. A little pricey on some items. Clean facilities, well taken care of and street parking and outside dining available, When the place is crowded it's really packed and can be loud in the confines, however excellent atmosphere, location and food with a top shelf staff.
The place is really nice, the night we went they had live music, it was really fun. Their beers are not super good but their food is super good, we had wings with fries and it was super delicious. Their service is great and super fast even when the place is full.
