"What a great place! Staff: We were greeted warmly after waking in. There was a short wait for a table, but there is a nice lounge area to wait in. Atmosphere: This is a warm little cafe and you'll want to look around at the decore. Food: The food was excellent! It was made to order and served piping hot. Everything tastes wonderful. I order a skillet and it was served to me in a cast iron skillet! We would recommend this place to anyone and will come back if we're in Monument in the future."

"This was recommended by many neighbors in the area. We went for a special occasion celebration and were surprised to find that it was hardly a glorified bar. So the atmosphere wasn't high. In a fully packed house, the sound level at the table would have to scream. I ordered Steak and Pommes for the food and the steak was barely edible. It seemed quite old, with a rotten cheese taste. Definitely not the merit of the ranking it holds."
