Dropped a kid at a birthday party in Moraga and had a 2hr window for dinner. Have been there 3x now, and happy each time. The Calamari appetizer is HUGE, and very tasty. I had the stew, which was also huge, and delicious as well. Took home 1/2 of the stew and it was great for lunch the next day. Its a little hard to find, but use the Theatre as your mark, and go 20 yards down the hill. read more.

What francophile doesn't like about Amoroma:
In spite of an early reservation (6:30), the main restaurant was completely full. We were seated in the bar area and the maitre d treated us as if we didn't really have a reservation. The food was fine, though not outstanding. The service was very good. We'll definitely return as this is the only nice restaurant in Moraga.
