What User doesn't like about Beach Cafe:
mushroom worst burger ever. I understand that they don't have to make the food, but atleast put more mushrooms there! but also the whole food is below average! service: dine in meal type: lunch price per person: $20–40 View all feedback.
They offer vegan cheese on pizzas and nachos at no extra cost. I loved the Margarita pizza, but you can also try the vegetarian premium with vegetables or kids pizza for something small as it is just $9. I would recommend adding pizza to the children for a dollar. Nachos is available if you order without acid cream and vegan cheese instead of normal. The salads aren't great, but they're okay if you feel like something healthy. The supersalate is not 'Super' and is basically just a bowl spinach with a small amount of Avo, Quinoa, Orange and Rohbrokkoli. The house salad is just a bowl of rocket with basic salad ingredients in it. The Napoli Pasta is also vegan and you can only ask for no cheese or vegan cheese. But please do not order the full size $19 Napoli Pasta, it is the same size as the children Napoli Pasta, which is $12 and comes with garlic bread. I'm not sure if the garlic bread is vegan, but it would be easy to ask. I just ordered it without garlic bread. And they have a vegan mushroom burger I didn't try, but it looks pretty good. The sweet potato chips are also fantastic. Because this is basically the only place for vegans on the island, but I will just talk about the few other available options. In the café opposite the beach café they have vegan chocolate cupcakes that are all right, as well as coffee/hot drinks with vegetable milk. With fire and stone (Viet/chinese they have a few options and I am sure you ask the staff, but the restaurant is very expensive. I ordered the salt and pepper tofu, which was a little less taste, but was good for a change and was not too expensive. The resort shop has bread, vegetable milk and spreads out. So I would recommend making sandwiches or toast for lunch and breakfast if possible. They have some tomatoes and other veg that is expensive, but go well on sandwiches. I think it is. Pizza was delicious and they even had vegan cheese! Burgers and large, lively vegan salads were also available.
After watching all the deep fried food parade out of the kitchen we ventured in for lunch mid week. Orders were grilled chicken salad the tangalooma burger with the lot for $17.50. The salad scored an Ok the burger a good thumbs up. Both servings were big. Beware the the cafe closes for lunch at 2pm then re-opens at 5 until 9pm. The menu is large, would have expected more fresh seafood given the location, perhaps buckets of prawns or similar however perhaps that's an operational issue. Later that night we ordered take away pizza which also received a thumbs up however would still recommend staying clear of all the fried food for the best pics out of the cafe. If you do get caught out for lunch with the 2pm close there is a coffee shop in the same complex with pre packaged sandwiches etc.
Very clean and well maintained restaurant the has a small but intimate eat in area offers inside and outside tables. Diverse menu that offers something for all tastes. Garlic pizza was amazing and the pizza we chose was absolutely delicious. It had actual topping with real Flavours. It was a real treat
This place was good, the chicken salad was very nice and it was fresh and plentiful. It was great for a sunset meal!
