"I'm giving 2 stars because the hibachi is already high, and to add mixed vegetables to it, is an ADDITIONAL $5! I have never, ever been to an Asian restaurant and had to pay extra for vegetables, and $5 at that. So it's nearly TWENTY dollars for a standard plate of hibachi, salad and soup NOT included. I really wanted a salad, so I paid an additional $4 for a tiny, wimpy little salad with horrible ginger dressing. The dressing was disgusting, nothing but orange, flavorless vegetable oil. The hibachi was sooooo so so salty and drowning in soy sauce that I could barely eat it, tasted nothing but salt. The one and only good thing I can say about this place is the sushi is pretty good, but really expensive as well. This place just isn't worth the prices they charge. The bill was over $50 for 2 people. Probably won't be back."

"I can't comment on if the food is any good. We were in there Sunday and the lady behind the counter never acknowledged us. I was hoping to get a cookie and stood there trying to catch her eye and was ignored. Then this man walks in and she ran right overand waited on him. So hey you don't want my business you didn't get it. We were the only people in the store and my friend wasgonna buy a cake. Shoddy way to do business."

"My husband and I just ate here tonight 12/17/22 for the first time and it was absolutely amazing. The food was excellent, service was excellent and prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be going back and we will tell others how really amazing it is."

"I love Mexican food, it's my favorite, and so far El Agavero is my favorite! They have some of the best food I've ever eaten. The prices are good and they are fast!! I have to update this review. I have since tried multiple Mexican restaurants in and surrounding Mt. Airy and El Agavero is STILL my favorite! This is the absolute best food! The prices has raised a bit but understandable with the economy inflation, but totally worth it, the food is exceptional, the drinks are the bomb baby! and the service top notch. The nicest employees! I love this place!"

"My boyfriend and I did the chefs table experience during covid and loved it so much i told my parents to go for months!! They finally went last month and said it was better than Alinea in Chicago and talk about it all the time. Great conversation, great atmosphere, and amazing food! Highly recommend!"
