"Cute little restaurant, largely vegan menu of Asian classics. We had karaage, wonton soup and spring rolls for starters. Our mains were rendang, hainan chicken rice and laksa, all of which were great. We'll definitely go again!"

"Located in the back streets of Manning, on the corner of Welwyn Ave and Bradshaw Cres, on the ground floor of a modern two/storey office building is a low key unassuming Malaysian restaurant. It is open Tuesday Sunday evenings between 5 and 9:30pm, as well breakfast lunch Friday to Sunday. Being a local I’ve driven past it numerous times but never thought to visit but I’m glad this time I did. Went for a midweek evening meal plenty of off street parking at the rear as well as street parking on Bradshaw Crescent. Inside it is clean, open and airy. The simple uncluttered decor white walls, light timber tables and chairs with a few scattered potted palms reminded me of home style restaurants in Singapore. The menu like the restaurant is relatively simple and uncomplicated. We ordered the Roti Canai, Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang, and Ikan 3 Rasa (Deep fried barramundi with sweet, sour spicy sauce). It’s not licenced but they have some great fruity mocktails. The roti was deliciously light and flaky, obviously hand made at the restaurant and the fish curry sauce it came with made me wish I’d picked the Kari Ikan MyRasa (fish curry and rice). My partner’s coconut rice in her Nasi Lemak was nice but didn’t stand out however house special sambal was amazing. The Beef Rendang was the highlight moist, falling apart beef with a great sauce. My barramundi was fresh, succulent and a reasonable portion, the sambal belacan wasn’t as amazing as the house sambal. They do have a couple of western dishes on the menu but unless you don’t like Malaysian spices I don’t know why you’d try them. The food here is fresh authentic home cooked Malaysian dishes done really well. I thoroughly recommend you try MyRasa if you are in the Manning area and you are craving good Malaysian cuisine."
