Coopers is an iconic name and establishment in Newark. I found out about Coopers years ago when I would deliver produce to them and from first bite I was hooked! My favorite has always been the corned beef, swiss, cole slaw and Russian...but there isn 't anything bad at Coopers! I have gone to this establishment all my adult life and I was SO DISAPPOINTED with the quality of the pastrami sandwich I got yesterday. I understand the need to raise prices to keep up with current costs but I would think that these increases would allow Coopers to maintain the quality they WERE known for. The meat was terrible.
