probably the worst experience in a waffel house. jj our waitress did the best she could. the chef, however, consistently commented that this was his secondary job and he did not interested. she told him that speck was burned and he said it wasn't. we could clearly realize that it was, but she still served to have no argument. the waffles were burned, all flesh except a chicken sandwich was burned. another couple told... Waiter was a quiet spoken kid that got our order correct the first time. Food was well cooked and staff had great service.
My wife and I decided to go to our local Waffle House on Lascassas after a Maundy Thursday Service and Vigil. The experience this evening was appalling. No greeting upon arrival, no server to ask us if we wanted something to drink, etc.. I actually turned my timer on to see how long it would take anyone to acknowledge us. After 15 minutes of watching and waiting and staff members walking past us, we finally asked if we were going to be served. The answer from one staff member, "Well,, I just got here. "What the what!! As a former chef for 10 years, I could not believe what I just heard. We left and went to the Waffle House on South Rutherford for a WAAAAAY BETTER experience.
No bathroom tissue, bought two waffles to go , one of them was half cooked ?
Always love me some Waffle Hizzle, always know exactly what you get which is great service, hot food great coffee and always a smile.
This location was like any other, but the young lady that served us was phenomenal! (I think her name was Jasmine? The food was on par and as expected. The location was good with easy access, but our server made the experience!!
