"We have visited Cafe 3692 on 4th of June, taking rather short yet steep hiking trail. The place is cozy, wonderfully situated with a gorgeous mountain view. The food is all organic and local, make sure to try the desserts!"

"We ate at the Eiger Guesthouse Restaurant twice during our 4 day visit to the Gimmelwald/Murren area, and both meals were really good. They serve a nice mix of Swiss traditional cuisine, as well as pizza, pastas and salads. For us, it was also excellent that they served meals later. We were very active during the evening, and were looking for dinners around 2100 hours, and Eiger Guesthouse was one of the few still serving. The beer and wine selections were nice, and the kids were happy with their meals. Thumbs up all around."

"Outstanding Thai food served by friendly scientific employees connected with a craft brewery. my wife and I (the Thai is) went to an evening meal to find the place that is busy with a genuine mix of local and vacationers. the owner (swiss,) has...a small craft brewery before site try mountain madness . the Thai food was excellent, very fresh and quickly served by a cheerful friendly team. it can not highly recommend if it has to visit in interlaken one (can recommend in the location to book before.)"

"Das Essen ist sehr fein und einfach ausgezeichnet. Die Geschmackskomponenten zu den einzelnen Gerichten sind kaum zu übertreffen, sehr edel in der Darstellung und intensiv im Abgang. "The location and the view is amazing. The parking lots and the playground as well as the mini golf course are all in the immediate vicinity on the site. What was a bit disturbing is the fact that we couldn't get along with the ordering process. Do you have to get the food yourself? Where to order. Then a service comes and takes the order... complete confusion. Rather just sit down and be served. The food was great and the desserts weren't bad either. The waiting time is also very long. "As I was the first person to write a TA review of this wonderful bar five years ago, I feel compelled, five years later, to pen an update. I'm happy to say it's even better than I remembered and, since the first time, they now serve panini (not that it could be described as a food bar, thank God). No, it's a proper bar with a good outside space at the back where the bar staff are wonderful and the owner, Alex, is often around to engage with drinkers. We were there during the street festival - every Wednesday in July/August - and despite the rain, Avocado was rocking with a live band, a big crowd and a fantastic atmosphere. It's difficult with bars to put your finger on why exactly they're better than others in the area, but whatever their secret is, they have it. Also there's a good balance between local regulars and visitors - and everyone is given a warm welcome."

"The most expensive, salty meal you could imagine. Everything tasted of salt. Even the pizza. Went to lidl afterwards and saw some cheeseburgers in the bakery section for 2 euro and would rather have had those. Proper disappointing."
