While some have noted slow service at the bar and subpar drinks, others rave about the delicious food and friendly staff. Customers praise the unique atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating and swinging leather chairs at the bar. The menu receives high marks, with standout items like the burgers, fries, and nightly specials. Overall, Pine Lakes Tavern seems to be a popular local spot with a lot of potential for a good time, especially during happy hour.
I thought that would be a small hole in the wallable (which I love) but it ended much larger than I expected. their outback sessions were very nice with a small lake to look and many sitting places. we ordered the mozzarella for appetizer and was a little thrown bc it looked like huhn parmesan but loved it! the marina sauce that came with it had a delicious hauch of basilikum! I really liked the blackening with salt and pepper with a side of the smoked blue cheese (which was fantastic.)
Friendly staff. also the note is the brilliantly unique bar setup. instead of high hockey, they are in the swinging office furniture. Why do I see that for the first time? Liquor selection was better than expected.
We've enjoyed this place for a long time. The staff is amazing, especially Aaron and Sissy. The drinks are always on time. The food is great, but the nightly specialties are phenomenal. Tonight we had the absolutely perfectly prepared NY stripes with asparagus and parmesh napkins. The steak had a car like me?t seen somewhere else in town and was boiled to exactly the right temperature. It was tender enough to cut it with a butter knife. It was well seasoned and not excessively salted. And the biggest bonus for me is that there are many ways to put a gluten-free diet.
Service staff is on site and Tom welcomes everyone in his bar/restaurant. I was twice for football (Go Giants) Ha there and feel like a regular one. Must go for live music on weekends.
At 10 a.m., moved to a chain-like place as it was closed and the bartender recommended Pine Lakes Tavern. We loved every second when we were there. Great service. Great vibes. Crowd was older and cool. Shaun Brown threw the jam out. And I can't be sure, but I'm pretty sure Bruce Springsteen drank at the bar! The burger was exactly what I needed after a 4-hour drive, and the bill was reasonable! The perfect pit stop before we check in our room! I'll stop here every time I get to Myrtle Beach.
