"Absolutely delicious! Would line up for it all over again. This, from someone who hates lining up for food. This was our favorite meal all trip, which included some really amazing Kobe beef too."

"Wa Yamamura is a first-class Kaiseki restaurant. The food was delicious and creative, the cook uses fresh and seasonal ingredients on site. The course menu concentrates on fish, not meat. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly service . Very recommended by you are in Nara ."

"Well, after a long time, I was able to go to the other side of the impression and meet a shop that can be impressed. I will leave the details of the meal to other people's comments. I thought everything was great. After leaving the shop, I thought that it was the shop where I could enjoy the afterglow for the first time in a long time. It's a shop that I can highly recommend, but I really thought that this is the kind of shop that I really don't want to tell you about. Thank you for the meal いやぁー、久しぶりに感動の向こう側に行き感激できるお店に出会えました。 食事の詳細は他の方のコメントにお任せして、私からは言えることは、敷地に入るアプローチから凛とした雰囲気、中に入ってからの空間、食事をしている間の時の移ろい、すべてが素晴らしいと思いました。 お店を後にしてから、久しぶりに余韻を楽しむことができたお店だと思いました。 超おすすめできるお店ですが、本当に教えたくないお店ってこういうお店なんだなと、つくづく思いました。 ごちそうさまでした"

"Had dinner at the restaurant which in itself was a wonderful experience. Being European myself I would not necessarily rate the quality of the food as Michelin Star (maybe we've been spoiled by the Japanes cuisine during our trip) but it was definitely very elegantly presented and overall very tasty."

"I love this restaurant! the atmosphere is simply beautiful and the food is healthy and excellent. they do everything from scratch and even have an old oven where they do the genmai dumplings. They do not use white sugar, but Tensai sugar that is a big plus. You have a seasonal menu, so I try as often as I can. You will explain every detail of the menu (only Japanese). Unfortunately, it is sometimes not enough for me, but I usually eat a lot of haha."

"Small and cozy place right in the main shōtengai/shopping street with roof. Easy to find. Only can serve 4 at the same time. Number of lunch plates is limited (10 in and 10 take aways , so reservation can only help. Lunch was delicious (on a smaller side , dessert is also served (11:30-14:30 . Probably best hōjicha ice cream i ever had. I came in the middle of cooking class, so they asked me politely to come back or have take away. I returned and didn’t regret : ."

"So happy to find this gem ! The staff were so friendly and chatty telling us about his coffee experience in Melbourne and then bringing that back to Nara in japan! Serves bonsoy in soy coffees , cafe has a friendly great vibe and vegan carrot cake was yum! We arrived 3o mins before close time so only had 1 slice of cake but we bought it straight away and had a coffee and we didn’t feel rushed at all! Went back on day 2 for coffee again and this time we had a Japanese red bean jaffle with a coffee and sat in the beautiful sunushine !"
