"Very delicate, clean flavors of seafood steamed into rice, similar to Chinese煲仔飯. The crispy rice at the bottom is delicious! Went at 1pm and the line was in the carpark next door, returned at 3pm and was seated at 3:40pm. Probably wouldn't wait longer than 40 minutes, especially in the winter!"

"I love this restaurant! the atmosphere is simply beautiful and the food is healthy and excellent. they do everything from scratch and even have an old oven where they do the genmai dumplings. They do not use white sugar, but Tensai sugar that is a big plus. You have a seasonal menu, so I try as often as I can. You will explain every detail of the menu (only Japanese). Unfortunately, it is sometimes not enough for me, but I usually eat a lot of haha."

"A sweet little cafe hidden in Nara. I ordered the lunch bento set and smoothie, as the full lunch set had to be reserved in advance. The lunch bento was absolutely amazing full of delicious, healthy vegan Japanese food. One absolute plus is that it had a variety of food in it, from pumpkin to shiitake mushrooms and more. One of the best vegan meals I had in Japan. The two ladies there are very friendly and even chatted with me, they know a little bit of English! Definitely recommend it to everyone : One thing would be you should call ahead to reserve the full lunch meal if you wish to try it. It looks even more delicious than the bento set I had and I wished I could try it."

"Had dinner at the restaurant which in itself was a wonderful experience. Being European myself I would not necessarily rate the quality of the food as Michelin Star (maybe we've been spoiled by the Japanes cuisine during our trip) but it was definitely very elegantly presented and overall very tasty."

"So happy to find this gem ! The staff were so friendly and chatty telling us about his coffee experience in Melbourne and then bringing that back to Nara in japan! Serves bonsoy in soy coffees , cafe has a friendly great vibe and vegan carrot cake was yum! We arrived 3o mins before close time so only had 1 slice of cake but we bought it straight away and had a coffee and we didn’t feel rushed at all! Went back on day 2 for coffee again and this time we had a Japanese red bean jaffle with a coffee and sat in the beautiful sunushine !"
