"Still one of the best restaurants in Colorado. The views are outstanding. We arrived early enough to have the sun set during our time there. The food, as always, is outstanding. We left so full. The best aspect of the Flagstaff House is the service. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the menu was custom printed with the celebrant's name and date on it. The server then offered to have the menu placed in our car so we would not forget it. The overall service from arrival to departure was top notch. This is a large reason why we visit the Flagstaff House for those special occasions. You do feel like royalty"

"Nothing beats a good mountain town pizza. You don’t have to stretch your imagination to envision coming into Nederland after a day of working up an appetite hiking in RMNP. A quick stop at Crosscut will satisfy any hunger you managed to work up. Crosscut’s wide range of wood-fired pizzas really offer something for everyone’s taste. While I personally shy away from a Hawaiian, I can tell you that the Hatch is delicious. As a matter of fact, we were so anxious to dig-in that I only managed to get a picture of half the pie. The crust is the right base with a combination of crisp and chewy. Their mozzarella cheese is delicious and serves as the perfect bed for pepperoni and hatch chili. Service is fast and friendly. While the place looked very busy late on a Friday afternoon we didn’t wait long for our order. They have a wide selection of beers to pair with your pie but if you want to pass on the alcohol, their lemonade is a great mix of tart and sweet to wash down your meal."

"My husband and I embarked on a scenic Fall foliage drive during the last weekend of September, with a pit stop in the charming mountain town of Nederland, CO. We decided to grab a quick bite at Salto Cafe. Having already indulged in coffee earlier that morning, we opted for salads and a side of sourdough toast with butter. I ordered the Greek Salad with grilled chicken, and it met my expectations. The portion size was just right for me. On the other hand, my husband chose the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. While he liked the flavor, it left him wanting more, and he wasn’t too keen on the texture and consistency of the dressing. The cafe exudes a welcoming atmosphere, and its outdoor seating is a perfect choice when the weather is pleasant."

"That's your typical college brother. Nothing beautiful, and there is only room for 4 to sit. Service was friendly. I gave only 4 stars as I had No Onions and my burger had onions. Big burgers at a fair price. This is worth the visit."

"This review is also to mention them again because today, with all Boulder dine in restaurants closed currently for the pandemic, my friend surprised me with a superb 3 course lunch to go (at a fraction for what it really should cost). This take-out simply has to be the best quality food you can buy to go in Boulder. My lamb shank, arancini, and chocolate torte were all exactly what I wanted, served on our dining room table for a fraction of dine in. We will absolutely do this again, much sooner than later. Thanks guys!"
