"The most delicious food of our Allgäu holiday. Due to the positive reviews and looking for a restaurant without tourist mass production we came to Schalander. Without a table reservation, we were lucky to get a seat. The lady who served us was creepy friendly. We both had a bowling prune: pork and beef were perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. Applestrudel Cream Brûlée also super delicious."

"So hospitable as the whole place, as our holiday is so many evenings thinking about how you want to come with you now! Great hosts, food and drinks from the Allerfeinsten, we look forward to a reunion at some point! "Vorab: ich hatte das Steirische Schnitzel und das war hervorragend.Aber es war sehr voll und irgendwie nicht so urig, wie es zu erwarten war. Es fehlte etwas Atmosphäre, klassische Massenabfertigung. Aber über das Essen kann man nichts schlechtes sagen, das war ausgezeichnet!"

"After a long hike we came to the Kronenhütte mountain lodge on a recommendation from Helmut (Curly) and were warmly welcomed by Lisa and the Junior Chef. The Kronenhütte with its ambience has impressed us completely. We ate sensation cheese and then by far the best Kaiserschmarrn, which we ate on a hut in countless holidays in Allgäu and Austria. Both dishes are an absolute must and must not be missed. Since we have friends in Allgäu, the Kronenhütte mountain lodge will definitely become part of our journeys. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable afternoon."
