"This place has AMAZING FOOD AND AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The employees are always so friendly and cheerful. The reason for the 1 star is because of the way that the employees are treated. In the winter there is no heat and they have to cook with winter jackets on to keep warm. A small space heater is not an adequate source of heat when the front door is opening and closing because this place have so much volume and is always packed. Now that it is summer there isn't any air conditioning for them. They are given a fan now so now it is a convection bake oven in there for the employees. It is unhealthy and unsafe. The front door propped open is there only opportunity for air flow. The workers come to work everyday seems like they never call out they are always working so hard and hustling. Maybe the tip money that the owner takes from them could pay for the electric bill if he ever decides to get the HVAC system fixed. Just saying..."

"Soup of the day-chicken has a weird odor and taste as if chemicals are inside of the soup. It is not edible. I requested gravy on the rice and didnt receive any. For the price of food at this restaurant i believe portion and taste is very important."

"This place lived up to all the many reviews I have read online. when we drove from new york to the DC area, we die for a break and a tasty sound so wonderful. the sweet girl on the theke (I think her name was denai) knew that we had never been before and actually supplied us with several rehearsals after we got a list of our favorite ice creams and toppings. who's doing this? we don't know why this place is such a legendary one. can not wait to go back"
