I had dinner here with friends one evening. The service was prompt the food was tasty. It is a bit pricy, but you get good portions. They are excellent with disabled access have a ramp to get down the stairs if required. I'm in 2 minds about their allergen menu. It's great that they have one, but I had to log into it on my phone. What Knobby16 doesn't like about The New Forest:
I had not been to the New Forest for some time, and it had definitely gone down hill. We chose to go to the restaurant for table service, but still ended up going to the bar to order food, and also to pay at the end. The food was very dry, and some tender stem broccoli was the opposite and very chewy! There was vinegar on the table and we noticed that there was a fly in it. Amazing food, great selection of drinks and very attentive staff! Would highly recommend the roast on Sunday! Will Definitely be coming back
