Had a fantastic time at the Highlander. The staff was incredibly friendly, had that welcoming small town charm, and offered to make our wings just how we liked...

Very kind bartenders. Good scene, cheap pool (2$ and I just had a great night out with family. 5 stars!!

Very friendly, great if you want a cold one and like slot machines. Be a lot better if they served finger food a least

"Four of us enjoyed breakfast here, not only because of the food but because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the waitresses. The restaurant itself is very stark but you soon forget that when you're enjoying good coffee and breakfast, as we did."

"Stopped in for cute little lunch which ended in an upset stomach. We were provided cutlery with food still on them. We mentioned something and they were promptly replaced. She then brought us our waters but my glass had something in it as well as lip prints from the previous drinker. I asked for a can instead as I figured I’d be safe that way. Food was okay, exactly what you’d expect for a small diner. Seated next to the front door which was kinda chilly given the season and quickly cooled the food we were eating. Likely won’t be back."

"Sam's is the best and it's worth the wait on Saturday night, especially if you're feeding a family with three teenagers....pizza, Greek salad, souvlaki, jar of pizza sauce or the baklava, you won't be disappointed! We go frequently....especially for family gatherings on Saturday evenings!"

"This was our first visit to Pictou, and we were looking for a coffee place. Stone Soup was open and had some good reviews, so we decided to check it out. We ended up ordering the soup of the day and did not regret our decision. It's a cozy coffee shop with nice folks and delicious menu items. Would totally recommend it.Food: 5/5"
